Lewis awarded NVQ Level 2 Diploma

Lewis, one of our Fire Door Maintenance Engineers, has successfully completed his NVQ Level 2 Passive Fire Protection qualification through our Academy and working together with Now Get Qualified Limited (NGQ).

This NVQ is for those who are experienced at fire-stopping and PFP works, with more detailed training relating to –

• installing fire stopping and penetration seals
• installing fire resisting timber door assemblies and doorsets
• health, safety and welfare
• access/working platforms
• moving, handling and storing resources

Lewis has demonstrated practical skills in the relevant areas of passive fire protection systems, shown understanding and awareness of a good level of work-related knowledge and competence, and proven the ability to carry out work safely and to an excellent standard,
